Hey Gorgeous NEVER double dips!!!

No hot showers, hot tubs, exercise, tanning, swimming, fragrant soaps or lotions immediately after waxing.

All of these can add sensitivity to skin that has already been sensitized. Usually, waiting 24 hours after a wax will prevent any irritation.

Do not exfoliate until a couple of days after you get waxed.

This will also prevent the above-mentioned irritation.

If red bumps persist more than a few hours, hydrocortisone cream can be applied to help calm the skin.

To avoid ingrown hairs, you must exfoliate the skin daily after the allotted wait time.

Use our scrubbing mitts or a loofah. Avoid mesh body sponges as they tend to harbor bacteria.

If ingrown hairs persist, talk to your esthetician.

She can help you find a product to use and help you understand what may be causing the irritation.

Most people tolerate waxing extremely well and continue waxing for years.

However, there are exceptions to every rule. If you happen to have what you think is a negative reaction to the waxing service, please contact your esthetician immediately!

We have seen most reactions and can let you know how to fix it and give you insight on what may have caused it.
